I remember Jack Ashenback from Port Salerno FL.
Pretty even tempered Elder. I guess his age now when have around 70, that's a little to die of Alzheimer's disease, but then Eva Skinner, a friend of died at age 69.
if it has not already been done, i would like to introduce a new topic.
for me, i would like to know the whereabouts and what's up with some of my former friends and acquaintances.
to start: some folks i used to be close to at cape cod mass: bob and pam fragosa , dick and valerie davis, charles harutunian (sic).

just heard from a reliable source that some at the canadian branch have received their lay-off notices under their doors at bethel.
don't know what the letter looks like.
probably something like, " the tribe has spoken, bring us your torches"
i went and visited a longtime elder and friend of mine today in a nearby congregation(its been about 4 months since we talked).
i told him a friend in brooklyn told me some big changes are coming and that a letter was to be read to all congregations this sunday.
he tells me that he check his mail on tuesday and didn't see anything.
The panic has set in.
At the meeting last night, many were saying something is going on!

Then he says, "Oh, a undated Letter", he opens it reads it out loud to me, then says, "I need to contact everyone in my Service Group". I said, "You might want to check with the other Elders first".
He calls me later and says: "I was wrong to read the letter to you(he's over 70), The letter is Confidential, I made a mistake, please do not tell anyone".
I said: "I would never do that to You. However a Sister in your Hall, whose son is a CO is telling everyone about this letter". ( She has always been a self-righteous, unmarried for many years, B.tch, Elder wanna be. She even ratted on me once for something really silly.)
does anyone have an accounting of those properties?
which properties and possible value of sale?.
sounds like that the watchtower may want to sell quickly?
i just texted a very good remote worker friend, said i heard that there is a reduction in force coming at bethel and i hoped he wouldn't be affected.
.
he said its true, its not a rumor.
a good source just just told me that at morning worship today that the governing body announced that a total of 1600 bethelites will be let get go and not transferred to warwich when the last property is sold in brooklyn and all kingdom hall building projects are on hold for at least a year so that all the focus will be on the preaching work.
I remember the food at the Conventions and Assemblies. They made Money until it was changed to a donation for the food.
All of sudden, they were losing money for the lack of Donations.
Food Program ended, problem ended!

I talked to ex RBC member who has applied to work with the LDC 6 months ago and has heard nothing!
And anyone that I have talked to has not heard of any LDC projects going on in the Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama area.

searching on google maps found that the kingdom hall where ray franz was disfellowshipped and participated in gadsden was sold recently for 7th day christian fellowship .does anyone know about it?
is it a file burning ?
There are 3 Congregations in Gadsden, meeting in one Hall that was built 4 years ago. The other 2 Halls were sold to pay for the new one.
Does it matter which one was the one where Ray Franz went?
